For an established IT service company based in Frankfurt, we are looking for a Linux System Engineer with deep experience in high-availability environments and open-source hosting technologies.

In Short

• Operate and maintain high-availability Linux server landscapes.
• Configuration and cluster management of MySQL databases.
• Deployment and support of open-source applications (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, Varnish, etc.).
• Automation using Puppet and Ansible.
• Work in virtualization and container environments (KVM, RHEV/oVirt).
• Support through shell scripting and simple programming tasks.
• Performance management and proactive error analysis.
• Participation in architecture and infrastructure planning.

Requirements

• Deep experience in high-availability environments.
• Proficiency in Linux server management.
• Experience with MySQL database configuration.
• Knowledge of open-source applications.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Puppet, Ansible).
• Experience in virtualization and containerization.
• Ability to perform shell scripting.
• Strong analytical skills for performance management.
