Overview

Tala is seeking an experienced, impact-driven leader to head our Global Fraud Strategy team. This role is critical to safeguarding Tala’s customers and business while enabling growth across markets and products.

• Lead the development and implementation of Tala’s global fraud strategy.
• Create visibility throughout Tala into our fraud strategy and opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolio and industry fraud trends.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory developments.
• Oversee the execution of fraud prevention and detection initiatives.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators for fraud.
• Anticipate the need for evolution in fraud risk mitigation strategy.
• Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing global team.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in fraud prevention strategy.
• Proven track record of successful fraud prevention strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing high-performing teams.
• Outcome-oriented mindset with a strong bias for action.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, or related discipline.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
