Overview

Tala is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel (Director level) to join their U.S. legal team, focusing on capital markets and corporate governance.

In Short

• Provide expert advice on capital markets transactions globally.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including commercial contracts.
• Assist with corporate governance and compliance matters.
• Advise on equity management and employee options.
• Serve as a key legal advisor on major business transactions.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
• 6+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Proven track record in complex commercial transactions.
• Strong background in capital markets and corporate governance.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• In-house experience in FinTech is a plus.
