Overview

As a Software Engineer II at Global Payments, you will play a critical role in the software development life cycle, contributing to the design, coding, debugging, and maintenance of applications.

In Short

• Work throughout the software development life cycle.
• Create, design, code, debug, maintain, and test applications.
• Analyze existing applications and formulate logic for new ones.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in coding and data analysis.
• Experience with mainframe COBOL and modern programming languages.
• Familiarity with APIs and both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Advanced knowledge in one or more programming languages.
• Experience with IBM Rational Tools preferred.
• Ability to resolve diverse problems creatively.
• Good judgment in selecting methods for obtaining solutions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
