Overview

Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Learning & Development Facilitator to join our Takealot Delivery Team in Port Elizabeth reporting to the Training Manager. This role will be responsible for training coordination across the entire Eastern Cape region.

In Short

  • Responsible for training coordination in Eastern Cape.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Plan and schedule training sessions and workshops.
  • Identify training needs through performance analysis.
  • Involve in development and delivery of training content.
  • Handle logistical aspects of training sessions.
  • Manage the training budget and track expenses.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in training and development.
  • Travel extensively to various delivery hubs for on-site training.
  • Support operations teams for execution improvement.

Requirements

  • Higher certificate or tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Training Management.
  • Valid South African driver's license.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Training Coordinator/Supervisor/Facilitator.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in developing and implementing training materials.
  • Hands-on field and operational training experience.
  • Qualification specialization in Skills Development or Instructional Learning Development is advantageous.
  • IT or tech-savvy with experience in learning management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and project management abilities.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for learning and development.
