Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Associates degree in Health Information Management or equivalent certifications.
• Two years of medical coding experience required.
• One year of advanced surgical coding experience required.
• Obtain Specialty Medical Coding Certification within one year of hire.
• Four years of coding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
