The Insurance Claims Specialist is responsible for managing patient account balances, ensuring accurate claim submission, compliance with billing regulations, and providing excellent customer service to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of medical billing or medical office experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Ability to use computers and various software.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.
  • Strong customer service and telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to work tactfully and diplomatically with others.
  • Understanding of revenue cycle operations and payer relations.
  • Ability to maintain productivity and efficiency in tasks.
