Overview

The Senior Network Engineer at Sysco International is responsible for providing network support and ensuring efficient network operations. The role involves maintaining network devices, supporting users, and monitoring various network operations.

In Short

• Maintain key network devices daily.
• Support user community via Service Now tickets.
• Monitor LAN, WAN, Load Balancing, VPN, Security, and Wi-Fi operations.
• Provide project status updates to customers and management.
• Perform operational tasks with Service Now ticket support.
• Participate in enterprise infrastructure On-call rotation.
• Support remote site locations and corporate Data Centre locations.
• Develop operational knowledge of network-based tools.
• Apply troubleshooting skills to resolve network issues.
• Participate in projects across the enterprise network.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Extensive experience with network qualifications (CCNP, CCIE).
• Expert knowledge in Load Balancers, Firewalls, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Cisco network products and services.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience in large enterprise environments.
• Ability to work in a remote capacity.
