Senior Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day handling of escalations related to incidents, projects or requests of our managed services customer's environments, providing subject matter expertise in incident management, service request management, and change management infrastructure support.

In Short

• Manage and maintain customer Network infrastructure.
• Communicate incident ticket/service request status with customers.
• Perform baseline network administration including firewall, routing, and switching.
• Lead technical troubleshooting of critical network outages.
• Perform incident management on various network issues.
• Build and maintain documentation for customer Network infrastructure.
• Provide support and cross-training to team members.
• Manage service requests ensuring adherence to SLAs.
• Execute routine and emergency infrastructure maintenance processes.
• Assist with cross-training of Tier 2 team members.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience with operational administration of Network Infrastructure.
• 6+ years of experience with Cisco and Palo Alto Infrastructure.
• Experience with GlobalProtect, AnyConnect, FortiClient.
• Advanced experience with Cisco ISE and routing protocols.
• Strong background with operational administration of Network Management Systems.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• CCIE R&S or Security, PCNSE or equivalent level certification desired.
