Video and Production Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Video and Production Specialist to join our Reuters team. This role will be involved in the entire production process from pitch to delivery with an emphasis on post-production and video editing.

In Short

• Assist research & development of content in the pitch and pre-production phase
• Coordinate shoot logistics including call sheet preparation
• Demonstrate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere and After Effects
• Oversee post-production including paper edits through fine cuts
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience finding and booking shoot locations
• Knowledge of digital video formats, codecs, and social formats
• Proven ability to brief camera crews, video editors and graphic designers
• Thrive in a deadline driven, fast paced environment
• Perform related special projects or other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in production or related field or equivalent professional experience
• Familiarity with research, web content, development and Premiere editing experience
• Minimum of five years' experience in digital video production
• Experience working on short form pieces and preparing content for multimedia platform distribution
• Experience in custom content and/or broadcast news production preferred
