C++ Programmer, Tax Development - Remote

Overview

The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters is currently seeking a talented, motivated Software Developer for their Montreal, Canada office. As a member of a small development team within Thomson Reuters you will be responsible for building and maintaining tax software applications in a multi-technology Microsoft environment.

In Short

• Collaborate with tax experts to analyze and design solutions.
• Code and maintain tax logic and business rules.
• Create unit tests and perform integration with common source code.
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide feedback.
• Design and program complex optimization algorithms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in C++ or C#.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with Microsoft Visual Studio technologies.
• Good communication skills in French and English.
• Knowledge of Canadian personal income tax is a plus.
