Tier 2 Systems Engineer - Remote

Our client is in the BYOP space security, helping organizations enable flexible remote work without sacrificing security or compliance. Its patented technology creates a controlled workspace on any PC or Mac, offering a more streamlined and cost-effective alternative to traditional virtual desktop infrastructure. They are looking for a Deployments Engineer to join their team. This is a role for a true generalist, someone who has had exposure to many IT systems or tools throughout their career.

In Short

• Serve as the technical expert in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of deployment solutions.
• Provide top-level consultation and technical expertise on Windows PC and Mac deployment.
• Design, conduct, and document UAT and end-to-end solution quality tests.
• Handle a high volume of support calls and troubleshoot incoming requests.
• Deliver remote desktop support to both client and internal users.
• Maintain clear documentation of incidents and resolution notes.
• Proactively identify emerging issues and mitigate impact.
• Build effective cross-functional relationships.
• Uphold a positive atmosphere with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience with Windows PC and Mac systems.
• Strong technical support skills.
• Familiarity with Zendesk or similar ticketing systems.
• Ability to conduct UAT and quality testing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced support environment.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
