DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

SupportYourApp is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help maintain our infrastructure at the highest level. If you have over 3 years of experience in system or network administration and want to be part of an international team, we are waiting for you!

In Short

• Automate development and testing processes (from creating new to supporting existing projects);
• Build and maintain CI/CD processes;
• Configure and monitor systems (Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, ELK, Sentry);
• Support cloud servers (from installation to patch management and troubleshooting);
• Work with databases (backup, replication, query profiling, troubleshooting);
• Ensure server and system security (detecting and fixing vulnerabilities);
• Document and maintain system inventory.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in system/network administration (primarily Linux servers);
• Knowledge of computer networks and protocols: basics of network topology, OSI model, key protocols of the TCP/IP stack (DNS, IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets);
• Practical experience with Linux;
• Ability and experience in writing scripts in Bash;
• Experience with Docker and docker-compose;
• Practical experience in building CI/CD using Jenkins and Ansible;
• Experience in administering web servers and load balancers (Nginx, Apache Tomcat, Haproxy);
• Experience configuring Postfix (IMAP, DMARC, SPF, DKIM);
• Ability to work with availability tools (Keepalived, Corosync);
• Experience managing MySQL and PostgreSQL databases (backup, recovery, encryption);
• Knowledge of SQL (syntax, profiling, performance optimization);
• Experience administering ProxySQL, Repmgr, Redis, Memcached, RabbitMQ;
• Knowledge of the Grafana/Prometheus/Promtail/Oncall, Nagios, ELK stack;
• Experience with AWS/S3 and Cloudflare;
• Intermediate English (B1) or higher.
