Lead Accounting Analyst - Remote

Overview

As our Lead Accounting Analyst, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records through the timely and accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

In Short

• Lead reconciliation of high-volume general ledger accounts.
• Review and ensure accuracy of reconciliations prepared by junior team members.
• Investigate and resolve complex discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams for accurate transaction posting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Develop and maintain reconciliation documentation and SOPs.
• Drive process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support audit requests related to account reconciliations.
• Mentor junior staff within the accounting function.
• Work remotely with travel expectations of 10%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting with a focus on account reconciliation.
• 2+ years of experience with US GAAP and internal controls.
• 4+ years of advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables).
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) preferred.
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• Prior experience at one of the Big 4 is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience or desire to grow into a leadership role.
