Field Engineer - Remote

Striim is a unified data integration and streaming platform that connects clouds, data, and applications with unprecedented speed and simplicity to deliver the right data at the right time. We are hiring a field engineer to be a technical leader who will engage with our customers throughout the life cycle of the Striim Platform.

In Short

• Onboard new Striim customers and deliver learning and implementation guidance.
• Lead customer technical teams during development phases.
• Support the transition from pre-sales prototypes to post-sales production.
• Collaborate with customer success teams for health checks.
• Be the Striim product expert and trusted advisor.
• Proactively engage customers for further adoption of the Striim platform.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to Striim implementations.
• Track customer issues and collaborate with support.
• Report on the status of key accounts.

Requirements

• 100% remote within the Continental United States.
• 3+ years in customer-facing technical roles.
• 3+ years with database management systems.
• 3+ years in programming languages like Java and Python.
• 3+ years of knowledge in Cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Message Systems like Kafka.
• Desirable experience in Enterprise data environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
