Field Engineer - Remote

Overview

Ampd Energy is looking for a Field Engineer to join our Service team and play a critical role in supporting and maintaining our clean energy technology across Singapore. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, coordinating repairs, and ensuring our systems perform at their best in the field.

In Short

• Provide remote and sometimes local expert technical support to customers.
• Install and commission products on customer sites.
• Teach distributors and contractors how to service and use products.
• Diagnose and root cause technical issues.
• Create/write up test reports and service reports.
• Collect and analyze data regarding product reliability and performance.
• Provide feedback to engineering and sales teams for product improvement.
• Work hands-on with high-power equipment.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin are a plus.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Requirements

• Relevant experience with high-power equipment.
• Trained as an Electrical Technician and/or Electrician.
• Strong understanding of electrical inspection and testing procedures.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and manuals.
• Effective working independently and as part of a team.
• A plus to have an unrestricted/restricted electrical license.
