Software QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Software QA Engineer, you have the opportunity to make a difference in our clients, the community and within yourself. You will be collaborating with team members and our clients in ensuring that the applications that we develop and the processes we use comply with defined specifications.

In Short

• Execute the QA strategy, methodology, discipline, and framework.
• Create and review test deliverables.
• Monitor QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis, and identify areas of improvement.
• Gather and present testing metrics to key stakeholders.
• Perform basic QA tasks - test planning, test documentation, test execution, test reporting.
• Mentor junior Software QA Engineers.
• Participate in quality initiatives within Stratpoint.

Requirements

• Graduate of any computer-related course.
• At least 2 years of working experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Solid understanding of the software development and quality assurance processes.
• Familiar with working with integrated solutions.
• Experience in mentoring, training, and guiding junior team members.
• Able to conduct team presentations.
