Data QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for QA Engineers to focus on test execution, hands-on validation, and certification of readiness of data projects.

In Short

• Focus on test execution and validation of data projects.
• Manage the full testing lifecycle and own all test documentation.
• Work in a modern environment with a multi-disciplinary peer group.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Project Management Officers.
• Create detailed test cases to ensure data quality.
• Perform data quality checks and testing.
• Maintain QA documentation for future testing purposes.
• Participate in daily stand-ups for team updates.
• Support data analysts in peer reviewing data outputs.
• Identify and solve data-related problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT/Computing/Business or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Database testing.
• Experience in Quality Assurance (QA testing, terminologies, methodologies).
• Experience working with SQL, Google Data Studio, Google Sheets, and Excel.
• Experience in Google BigQuery, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, and DaaS.
• Experience in Hadoop or Big Data technologies.
• Familiarity with analytics and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in JIRA and Confluence.
• Detail-oriented to identify test cases/scenarios.
• Strong collaboration skills and agile mindset.
