Part-Time Finance Consultant for Higher Education - Remote

In Short

• Part-time role focused on Higher Education Finance.
• Work with finance teams to implement and optimize Finance modules.
• Remote, project-based position with variable hours.
• Availability during normal U.S. business hours required.
• Occasional travel to client sites may be necessary.
• Provide functional consulting and training for Ellucian systems.
• Analyze and optimize financial business processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial operations.
• Stay updated on trends in higher education finance.
• Support software usage and upgrades for end-users.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the Higher Education industry.
• Hands-on experience with Ellucian Banner or Colleague.
• Expertise in financial operations including accounting and budgeting.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach.
• Able to troubleshoot system issues and work flexibly.
• Experience in project-based consulting preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or related field preferred.
• CPA designation is a plus.
