Accounts Receivable Billing Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Receivable Billing Analyst position involves managing client invoices, ensuring accurate billing practices, and maintaining effective communication with attorneys and clients.

In Short

• Create invoices, credit memos, and statements of accounts for clients.
• Submit client invoices to partners for review and approval.
• Work closely with attorneys and the finance team to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
• Record approved invoices and credit memos in the subledger.
• Send client invoices out via email and client portal.
• Review client accounts and send payment reminders on past-due invoices.
• Respond to client inquiries via email and phone.
• Conduct regular reviews of invoices and billing data for accuracy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or billing, preferably in a legal environment.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Prior experience with accounting systems is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Confidence to speak directly to team members to resolve issues.
• Ability to work occasional weekend hours is a plus.
