Overview

Our client, a Workers’ Compensation law firm, is currently in search of Senior and Associate Attorneys with a minimum of 1 years of experience for a remote position.

In Short

• Manage legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution.
• Advocate for insurance carriers, 3rd party administrators, and self-insured employers.
• Prepare correspondence and draft pleadings.
• Attend court appearances and manage calendar.
• Conduct depositions and cross-examinations.
• Negotiate settlements and lien claims.
• Mentor and manage legal assistants.
• Attend marketing events and client file reviews.
• Conduct training seminars on workers’ compensation case law.
• Maintain knowledge of current workers’ compensation case law.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in workers' compensation law.
• Licensed to practice in California.
• Must be located within California.
