Overview

The Maine CDC Operations Grants and Contracts Team is looking for a Grants and Contract Analyst to assist in the day-to-day operation of grants and contracts, ensuring efficient administrative support and collaboration across various programs.

In Short

• Assist in the development and monitoring of grants and contracts.
• Compile program budget information and review grant applications.
• Draft contracts for public health services.
• Collaborate with program staff and fiscal officers.
• Monitor grant budget balances for inconsistencies.
• Provide training on procurement processes.
• Compile data reports for program monitoring.
• Work closely with the Division of Contract Management.
• Ensure effective implementation of contracts.
• Resolve invoicing and grant expenditure errors.

Requirements

• Eight years of relevant education or experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and federal grant applications.
• Experience in budget development and monitoring.
• Ability to train others in procurement processes.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships.
