Senior Accountant (m/f/d) - Remote

In Short

• Responsible for all accounting, including monthly and annual financial statements, invoicing, and VAT returns.
• Develop, monitor, and optimize financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Create reports and analyses to support informed business decisions.
• Further develop financial processes, implement efficiency increases, and ensure compliance.
• Close collaboration with an accountant and reporting to the Group Controller in Rotterdam.

Requirements

• Completed studies in Finance & Accounting or a comparable commercial training.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting, including monthly closings, invoicing, and VAT.
• Ideally, you have already worked in e-commerce or in a company that sells physical products.
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience with DATEV and Excel skills - experience with Pleo and Flowers is a plus.
