Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting and finance team. This position is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing reconciliations, analyzing account data, participating in month-end close, and performing general accounting duties within the Accounting Department.

In Short

• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and analytics to support financial reporting.
• Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close.
• Support the preparation of internal and external reports.
• Analyze and accurately reconcile various bank accounts and accounts receivable.
• Support the accounts payable function as a back-up.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
• Support the finance team in conducting business performance analytics.
• Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations.
• Assist the Controller and CFO with day-to-day accounting transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• In-depth understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Experience working directly with US partners/clients.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.
• Able to work evening/night hours.
• Experience in Telecom industry preferred.
• Relevant certification (e.g. CA/CPA or CMA) preferred.
