The LIBRE Initiative seeks a Strategic Director for Libre-New Mexico to expand its impact and empower communities by advocating for public policy solutions.

In Short

• Partner with state director and national staff to develop strategy.
• Identify and recruit allied groups for public policy advocacy.
• Serve as spokesperson for LIBRE in New Mexico.
• Develop and execute educational events with coalition partners.
• Organize lobbying efforts at the legislature.
• Manage relationships within the legislature.

Requirements

• Knowledge of public policy landscapes.
• Experience in grassroots actions and coalition building.
• Ability to develop and execute collaborative strategies.
• Experience in managing and developing talent.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to travel for work.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in Hispanic communities in New Mexico.
