Overview

The Service Desk Dispatcher is responsible for maximizing the utilization of internal and field technical resources through the daily dispatch of service requests, ensuring effective communication and coordination with clients and technical teams.

In Short

  • Act as the single point of contact for all service requests.
  • Coordinate IT support groups to maximize technician utilization.
  • Schedule internal and field technical resources using ConnectWise.
  • Monitor resource schedules for prompt time entry on service requests.
  • Maintain communication with clients regarding incident progress.
  • Improve client service and satisfaction through effective communication.
  • Assist with monthly billing as needed.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Escalate service requests that cannot be scheduled within service levels.
  • Enter all work as service tickets in ConnectWise.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of computer and operating systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Technical awareness for matching resources to issues.
  • Understanding of support tools and techniques.
  • Typing skills for accurate service request entry.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-moving environment.
