Patient Service Representative (Part Time) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative (Scheduler). This remote role focuses on guiding patients through sensitive and often highly personal care journeys, whether related to women’s health, prenatal/postnatal care, or holistic treatment programs. You will handle appointment scheduling, insurance verification, patient education support, and accurate EHR documentation, ensuring patients feel heard, supported, and respected throughout their care experience.

In Short

• Warmly greet callers, ensuring comfort and privacy during sensitive discussions
• Schedule patient visits including prenatal/postnatal appointments, wellness exams, procedures, or program-based consultations
• Verify patient insurance coverage, including benefits for maternity care, women’s health services, and/or functional medicine treatments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EHR
• Coordinate with clinical staff regarding urgent or time-sensitive scheduling needs
• Assist patients with preparation for appointments (e.g., lab instructions, forms, educational materials)
• Support patient engagement through program reminders, follow-up calls, and portal communication

Requirements
