Patient Service Representative - OB/GYN or Holistic Functional Medicine - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative (Scheduler) with a background in OB/GYN scheduling or holistic functional medicine patient support. This remote role focuses on guiding patients through sensitive and often highly personal care journeys, whether related to women’s health, prenatal/postnatal care, or holistic treatment programs.

In Short

• Warmly greet callers, ensuring comfort and privacy during sensitive discussions
• Schedule patient visits including prenatal/postnatal appointments, wellness exams, procedures, or program-based consultations
• Verify patient insurance coverage, including benefits for maternity care, women’s health services, and/or functional medicine treatments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EHR
• Coordinate with clinical staff regarding urgent or time-sensitive scheduling needs
• Assist patients with preparation for appointments (e.g., lab instructions, forms, educational materials)
• Support patient engagement through program reminders, follow-up calls, and portal communication

Requirements

• Experience in OB/GYN scheduling or holistic functional medicine
• Strong communication skills
