Overview

As a Software Engineer at StackAdapt, you will contribute to the development of a cutting-edge advertising platform, working with modern technologies and large data sets to enhance campaign performance.

In Short

• Design, improve, and debug complex, scalable distributed systems.
• Optimize bottlenecks and enhance system-wide performance.
• Maintain an updated tech stack with current standards.
• Write extensible, scalable, and test-driven code.
• Participate in technical planning and architectural decision-making.
• Collaborate on web architecture design, including APIs and backend systems.
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish.
• Contribute to code and technical spec reviews.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in building web applications.
• Knowledge of React, Typescript, GraphQL, and Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with end-to-end technical projects.
• Strong understanding of scalable system design for APIs.
• Collaboration experience with Product & Design teams.
• Experience with relational databases and key-value stores.
• Experience with large scale Ruby on Rails / Go projects.
• Basic AWS knowledge or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Experience in optimizing web application performance.
• Experience with programmatic advertising is a plus.
