Overview

The FIU Coordinator position at SouthState Bank involves supporting the enterprise-wide BSA/AML/Fraud/Sanctions Program through detailed analytical work, model development, and compliance with financial regulations.

In Short

  • Maintain knowledge of BSA compliance and regulations.
  • Utilize Verafin software for transaction monitoring systems.
  • Work with FIU management on new analytics testing.
  • Adhere to SouthState Bank policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in business, data science, or related field preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of AML, Fraud, and OFAC regulations.
  • Experience with statistical modeling and data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to write complex queries for data analysis.
  • Strong communication skills for technical translation.
  • Experience with AML software platforms (Verafin preferred).
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
