Commercial Credit Analyst I - Remote

Overview

This position is responsible for serving the Credit Administration staff and Relationship Managers by providing analytical and loan decision support through the preparation of financial statement spreads for commercial loan borrowers, guarantors, and related entities.

In Short

• Perform spreads and credit analysis of commercial borrowers and guarantors.
• Conduct personal cash flow analysis using tax returns and financial statements.
• Handle complex spread requests for various lending groups.
• Provide detailed Credit Analysis on all spread requests.
• Participate in training and mentoring sessions.
• Communicate with Relationship Managers regarding loan concerns.
• Research and analyze financial data for loan decisions.
• Monitor financial positions of established accounts.
• Assist Portfolio Managers with underwriting tasks.
• Contribute to a positive workplace environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting recommended.
• Five years of finance/accounting experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Commercial Credit Analyst.
• Knowledge of Microsoft software applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
• Ability to handle regular travel and flexible hours.
