Data Engineer Intern - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer Intern to strengthen our DATA team at SQLI, where you will be integrated into a project team for one of our major clients.

In Short

• Participate in the implementation of data strategy to meet client business challenges.
• Help set up data pipelines for data collection, transformation, and processing.
• Develop jobs for data ingestion, processing, and quality control.
• Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and POCs to highlight technological recommendations.
• Engage in the technical community through technology watch and inter-Business Unit sharing.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL database management systems.
• Utilize programming languages for modeling such as Spark, Python, and R.
• Have knowledge of data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms like GCP or Azure.
• Demonstrate curiosity, autonomy, and teamwork skills.

Requirements

• Seeking a 2-year internship starting September 2023.
• Preparing for a BAC+5 in Data or Mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems.
• Proficient in programming languages for data modeling.
• Good understanding of data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms.
• Curiosity and autonomy in work.
• Ability to work in a team.
