Overview

The Regional Sales Manager’s (RSM) primary responsibility is to meet/exceed the company’s sales goals within the assigned territory.

In Short

  • Create and maintain account and territory plans to achieve sales objectives.
  • Establish relationships with physicians and hospital stakeholders.
  • Engage in continuous professional growth and improve clinical knowledge.
  • Utilize customer/account management systems for tracking.
  • Complete timely activity reports and deliver business reviews.
  • Assist with trade show exhibits and sales meetings.
  • Work with surgeons on presentations and case studies.
  • Coordinate hospital product approval processes.
  • Assist with training of hospital staff and surgeons.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in orthopedic or medical device sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to “concept” sell novel products.
  • Track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience in a start-up environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
