Business Analyst, Payments and Fraud - Remote

Overview

Spokeo is seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Business Analyst, Payments & Fraud to help drive performance, insight, and continuous improvement across our payments and fraud function.

In Short

• Support and enhance the development of payments and fraud KPIs and performance reporting.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to uncover trends and revenue opportunities.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Build and maintain dashboards to monitor fraud trends and payment health.
• Provide analytical support to improve fraud detection workflows.
• Evaluate fraud rule performance and recommend improvements.
• Analyze payment decline drivers for optimization opportunities.
• Communicate performance insights across teams.
• Deliver timely insights for decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Highly analytical and meticulous with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving operational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business analytics, preferably within payments and fraud.
• Strong SQL expertise and experience with large datasets.
• Proven ability to deliver business insights and recommendations.
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau.
• Familiarity with CNP subscription-based payments preferred.
• Prior experience with fraud decisioning tools preferred.
