Subject Matter Expert for NATO Joint Warfare Centre - Remote

Overview

We are looking for personnel to join our team and support key client projects at the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, Norway, providing subject matter expertise and strategic advice.

In Short

• Provide subject matter expertise to represent a senior Minister and Deputy PM of the Affected Nation's Government.
• Offer strategic advice on political concerns to the training audience.
• Ensure realistic responses from the Affected Nation Government during exercises.
• Act as the focal point for strategic matters during exercise preparation.
• Coordinate political matters affecting operations within the team.
• Develop operational concepts for the Affected Nation's Ministry.
• Assist training audiences with planning by providing expertise.
• Analyze training audience plans and their impacts on the Affected Nation.
• Generate exercise material to challenge the training audience.

Requirements

• 3 years’ experience in political decision making at Ministry of Foreign Affairs level in Africa.
• 3 years’ experience in briefing senior leaders at governance level.
• 3 years’ experience in influencing national policy making at strategic level in Africa.
• A University/Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent).
• Business English proficiency.
