Overview

Spektrum is looking for a Sociocultural Subject Matter Expert to provide expertise and advice to NATO Joint Warfare Centre personnel and training audience staffs.

In Short

• Provide scientific sociocultural subject matter expertise.
• Assist in translating sociocultural insights into exercise content.
• Analyze training audience orders for sociocultural implications.
• Mentor EXCON personnel on sociocultural issues.
• Role-play as representatives of fictitious groups in exercises.
• Familiarity with NATO publications is required.
• Master’s degree in Social and/or Cultural Anthropology is essential.
• Experience in briefing senior leaders in a multinational environment.
• Remote work may be requested on an ad-hoc basis.
• Travel costs for participation will be covered.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the Cultural Social field.
• Experience in briefing senior leaders at governance level.
• Experience working alongside NATO at operational level.
• Master’s level Degree in Social and/or Cultural Anthropology.
• Business English proficiency.
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
