Human Resources Generalist - Remote

Overview

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a variety of HR tasks including payroll, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations, ensuring that all HR programs and policies are effectively implemented.

In Short

• Perform payroll-related tasks and review timesheets.
• Implement new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
• Administer HR programs including compensation and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Facilitate the off-boarding process for departing employees.
• Assist with employment-related inquiries and maintain HRIS data.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of HR trends and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with the Business/Staff Development team.
• Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, organizational management, or business administration.
• Two years of HR experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.
• Team-building skills to ensure workflow.
• Experience with recruitment and benefits administration is a plus.
