Archaeologist, Field Health and Safety Specialist - Remote

Overview

SEARCH has an immediate opening for a Full Time Archaeologist with health and safety experience. This position can report out of any of the SEARCH offices or remote.

In Short

• Use experience and education to perform archaeological survey and excavation.
• Administer project health and safety plan and participate in training.
• Travel to job sites throughout the US for health and safety trainings.
• Provide hands-on solutions for health and safety needs in the field.
• Identify gaps in health and safety plans and provide solutions.
• Use navigational equipment for fieldwork.
• Photo-document artifacts and maintain accurate logs.
• Collect artifacts and samples according to research design.
• Perform daily quality control of field data.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and on schedule.
