Overview

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing a high volume of inbound calls while accurately documenting excavation and utility locate information in a web-based system. The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. In addition, maintain a positive & professional attitude when handling calls, with a sense of urgency. Be able to accurately plot site locations on a map. This position is open to candidates in South Carolina and is fully remote. The company will provide the needed equipment.

  • Fully remote position for Customer Service Representatives residing in South Carolina.
  • Full-time role with a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
  • Compensation starts at $17.77/hour plus potential performance bonuses.
  • Responsibilities include handling high-volume inbound calls and documenting information accurately.
  • Must possess strong active listening and communication skills.
  • Experience in a call center environment is preferred.
  • Company provides equipment and offers various benefits including medical, dental, and 401K.
  • Background in public safety or utilities preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and manage complex customer interactions.
  • Must have minimum internet speeds of 3 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to type at least 45 wpm accurately.
  • Calmness under pressure and critical thinking skills.
  • Must be able to work remotely from South Carolina.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check.
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
