In Short

• Implementing ingestion pipelines using Airflow for consuming data from various sources.
• Implementing transformation pipelines using software engineering best practices and tools (dbt).
• Working closely with Software Engineering and DevOps to maintain reproducible infrastructure.
• Defining and implementing data ingestion/transformation quality control processes.
• Building pipelines that use multiple technologies and cloud environments.
• Ensuring data automation stability through monitoring and improvement.
• Reviewing existing and proposed infrastructure for architectural enhancements.
• Working closely with Data Science and facilitating advanced data analysis.

Requirements

• Background in SaaS/DaaS product development.
• Python expertise with strong SQL proficiency.
• Apache Airflow proficiency and Linux environment experience.
• Experience with RDBMS and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Google cloud services or their analogues.
• Expertise in dbt or extensive experience with complex SQL transformations.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to mentor more junior engineers.
