Overview

As an Instructional Designer at Sonar, you will play a critical role in designing and developing engaging, high-quality training experiences that empower customers to adopt and maximize the value of Sonar’s solutions.

• Design and develop engaging learning experiences for Sonar products.
• Apply instructional design models and adult learning principles.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create accessible learning materials.
• Create multimedia learning assets like video tutorials and simulations.
• Develop structured learning paths for customer onboarding and advanced usage.
• Ensure training content aligns with Sonar’s branding and messaging.
• Measure training effectiveness and improve learning experiences.
• Stay current on developer workflows and software development trends.

Requirements

• Experience in instructional design or technical training in SaaS.
• Proficiency in learning design software and content creation tools.
• Experience with learning management systems and SCORM/xAPI standards.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into training content.
• Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-first mindset with a passion for user success.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and DevOps practices is a plus.
