Solar Landscape is seeking a highly skilled and agile Counsel – General Corporate/Finance attorney to join our legal team, focusing on corporate law within the renewable energy sector.

In Short

• Provide legal support for project financing and REC transactions.
• Handle entity formation and ensure compliance with filings.
• Manage subscriber acquisition and related documentation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs.
• Conduct due diligence on real estate matters for solar projects.
• Identify and resolve title and survey issues impacting solar sites.
• Ensure compliance with laws related to renewable energy development.
• Stay informed on legal trends and regulatory changes.
• Partner with Business Development to close deals efficiently.
• Provide strategic legal insights to leadership.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in corporate law.
• Strong experience in contract negotiation.
• Ability to balance business expectations with compliance.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
