Overview

As an IT System Administrator (m/f/d), you ensure that our entire IT infrastructure operates smoothly, securely, and efficiently. You are the technical point of contact for the team, optimizing processes and ensuring that everyone has the right tools and access.

In Short

• Setup, maintenance, and monitoring of our Linux servers (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS).
• Management of user accounts, SSO, MFA, and permissions in Google Workspace and other cloud tools.
• Ensure remote access through reliable VPN configuration, certificate management, and troubleshooting.
• Procurement, setup, and management of workstations (Windows, Mac, Linux) including asset management and MDM.
• Participation in audits, implementation of security measures, and documentation of critical IT processes.
• First-level support for technical questions and ensuring structured ticket processing in the helpdesk system.

Requirements

• IT training or comparable professional experience with at least 2-3 years of practical experience in server and cloud service administration.
• Familiarity with Linux servers, Google Workspace, VPNs, and SaaS applications.
• Basic knowledge of networks, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
• Understanding of IT security, data protection (GDPR), access control, and secure infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and maintain standards in reliability and IT organization.
• Service-oriented mentality with the ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• Comfortable in modern cloud-based work environments and eager to develop them further.
