Overview

As a Staff Product Designer, you will play a central role in the further development of our core product, significantly shaping the user experience of our learning platform for web and mobile. You will actively design how millions of students learn digitally with sofatutor.

In Short

100% remote (Germany & EU)
36-40 hours per week
Responsible for redesigning our learning platform with a focus on intuitive user experience.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Educational Leadership.
Develop adaptive and AI-supported learning features and user flows.
Work with other designers and creatives on projects.
Experience in product and UX design for digital products.
Strong skills in interaction design and user engagement.
Fluent in English; German is a plus.
Experience with modern design tools, especially Figma.

Requirements

Several years of experience in digital product design (web and mobile).
Ability to simplify complex products into intuitive user experiences.
Experience in developing new product features from problem definition to prototypes.
Strong engagement and interaction design skills.
Experience in working closely with product management and stakeholders.
Knowledge of adaptive and AI-supported interfaces is a plus.
Experience with educational or consumer products is advantageous.
Experience with gamification or motivation design is beneficial.
Fluent English skills, German skills are advantageous.
Familiarity with modern design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma.
