DevSecOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

Soda Health is a technology company that administers Smart Benefits to connect people to products and services they need, when they need them, so they can live healthier lives. We partner with payers and retailers to deliver expansive benefits for things like healthy foods, OTC medications, or transportation.

In Short

• You will securely and scalably operate systems which move hundreds of millions of benefit dollars through our retail partners.
• You will perform security feature reviews and own our automated security tooling.
• You will run and coordinate pen tests and security advocacy programs.
• You will ensure our computing environments are fast and available.
• You will automate testing and release to production 4x daily.
• You will balance kindness and empathy with a desire to do things right.
• You must have experience in dev, sec, and ops.
• You will keep us compliant with HIPAA, SOC 2 Type 2, HITRUST, PCI, and more.
• You will work within a remote-first, distributed workforce.
• Travel may be required from time to time for company events.

Requirements

• 7+ years at a senior level in software engineering, application security, and infrastructure operations.
• Experience in a B2B2C SaaS and regulated environments.
• Technical skills in shell, Python, Go, Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud providers.
• Ability to influence others without being overly authoritative.
• Commitment to building a diverse culture and addressing health inequities.
• Bachelor’s degree or similar experience preferred.
