In Short

Design, build, implement and maintain scalable automation tools for application security.
Collaborate with development, security, and DevOps teams.
Integrate security automation into CI/CD workflows.
Develop custom scripts, plugins, or APIs for security testing.
Monitor and analyze security automation tool results.
Provide mentorship on secure development lifecycle practices.
Stay updated on security automation trends and best practices.
Support incident response and remediation efforts.
Identify opportunities for improving security tool coverage.
Advocate for continuous improvement in tooling and processes.

Requirements

8+ years of software engineering experience focused on security automation.
Proficiency in Python, Ruby, Go, Java, or similar languages.
Strong understanding of application security principles and vulnerabilities.
Hands-on experience with security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, SCA).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code tools.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
