Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of Soda Health’s financial operations, ensuring timely financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making.

In Short

• Own and optimize the full accounting cycle.
• Design and implement internal controls and accounting policies.
• Lead the monthly and quarterly close process.
• Manage accounting schedules and journal entries.
• Oversee transition of day-to-day accounting from external firm to internal operations.
• Supervise AP and AR processes.
• Coordinate annual audits and reviews.
• Contribute to systems and process upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
• Mastery of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Fluency with core accounting systems.
• Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong sense of integrity and accountability.
