Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our Korea accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.

In Short

• Lead Korea accounting operations
• Ensure compliance with K-GAAP, US GAAP/IFRS
• Manage GL, AR, AP, and fixed assets
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Oversee local tax filings
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
• Supervise operations handled by GBS
• Mentor junior accountants
• Ensure internal controls and compliance
• Strong communication and leadership skills required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA/AICPA preferred)
• 7–10 years of relevant accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of Korean GAAP and taxation
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Fluent in Korean; proficiency in English required
• Experience in SOX compliance
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and strategic mindset
• Team-oriented with strong analytical skills
