• Review monthly financial and tax documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage and mentor team members, ensuring high-quality output and professional development.
• Handle complex client communications, responding to inquiries within a 24-hour window.
• Coordinate and support special projects, including audits and process optimization.
• Work cross-functionally with leadership to align team efforts with broader business goals.
• Identify and recommend improvements in workflows, systems, or documentation.
• Execute specialized projects including client audits and advanced tax implication research.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership to support strategic business objectives.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting and project management.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (especially with U.S.-based clients).
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting, etc.).
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify is a plus).
• Exposure to project management or workflow tools.
• Knowledge of sales tax software (e.g., Avalara).
• CPA certification or progress toward one.
