Overview

As a Solutions Architect in our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional outcomes for our teams and customers during our modernization projects, engaging with customers to migrate from Scala environments into Snowpark.

In Short

• Lead design and migration of applications, code, and data onto cloud platforms.
• Outline architecture of Spark and Scala environments.
• Guide customers on building data engineering pipelines on Snowflake.
• Run workshops and design sessions with stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot migration issues.
• Create documentation and repeatable processes from customer engagements.
• Scripting using Python and shell scripts for ETL workflows.
• Develop best practices for customer enablement.
• Provide guidance on resolving technical challenges.
• Optimize Snowflake for performance and cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in a customer-facing technical role with complex implementation projects.
• Experience in Data Warehousing, AI/ML, and Cloud projects.
• Ability to deliver outcomes in new arenas with new products.
• Ability to learn new technology and build repeatable solutions.
• Anticipate project roadblocks with mitigation plans.
• Proven communication skills across multiple groups.
• Outstanding presentation skills to technical and executive audiences.
• Flexibility to travel for on-site customer engagements.
